Alexis Mabille, Maison Martin Margiela Get Haute Couture Approval
Haute couture is not only alive, it is growing: Yesterday, labels Alexis Mabille and Maison Martin Margiela were given their official appellation status by the almighty Chambre Syndicale, the ivory tower of French fashion where such things are decided. For the past few seasons, Mabille and Margiela showed couture collections as a guest member and a corresponding member, respectively, so basically this means they passed their trial period.
Now there is a total of fourteen fashion houses in the haute couture club, in addition to eleven remaining guest members and five "correspondent" members, which include Azzedine Alaļa and Giorgio Armani. Bravo to the newcomers, death to sewing machines, and may hand-bejeweled headpieces enjoy many happy seasons to come.

Allan Vos (1980) studied Fashion design at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in The Hague. He graduated with a theatrical fashion collection. He started to work for theaterproductions to learn about costumes. Allan designed for shows, videos, events and films. He missed fashion and followed masterclasses at Royal Saint Martins in London, launched a bag-line, created many redcarpet-outfits and presented his fashions during events.
Allan Vos presented his first mens collection based on a sporty dandy at the 17th edition of Amsterdam Fashionweek.

And here comes the hero of the occasion. Boeing 747-8 landing. Hereby this airport has become the first Russian airport that received the largest commercial cargo aircraft Boeing 747-8 owned by Luxemburg airlines "Cargolux".
The aircraft made a refueling landing on its way from Shanghai to Luxemburg. 88 tons of fuel was filled.
The first trial flight of Boeing 747-4 was in 2010.
The aircraft has extended fuselage (+ 5,5 metres), redesigned wing and improved efficiency
The aircraft is being produced in both cargo and passenger versions.
